I'm excited to now be Dean of the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs; I had an opportunity to serve as interim dean for the past two years and I've been a member of the faculty since 2004. Dr. Gooden’s hands-on approach to teaching combined with her determination, optimism and social literacy makes her the ideal leader to elevate the institution and its nation-leading programs.
